Learn about Nate.

I am an accomplished technology professional with broad technical skills, a deep understanding of psychology and human nature, and a proven track record of bringing value to technology companies. With over a dozen years experience designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions for start-up companies, I know firsthand the many technological challenges individuals and organizations face each day.

Through this experience, I have become convinced that 90% of the issues with technology that people face could have been prevented through better design. I am now a full-time graduate student in Georgia Tech’s Master’s program in Human-Computer Interaction, honing my skills of creating good user experience in technology, products, and services.

In my spare time, I enjoy singing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, a Grammy-winning ensemble with which I’ve performed in Atlanta, Berlin, Chicago, and New York.

I’m an avid racquetball and Ultimate frisbee player and have recently begun learning to play the upright bass. I am active in Atlanta’s West End neighborhood, where I live with my wife Kathleen and our two daughters, Norah (3) and Lena (1).
